The Weaned Pig Range
Housing has a major impact on weaners’ welfare and productivity. Properly housed, weaners convert feed more efficiently, speeding up your production cycle and boosting your profitability.
Weaned Pigs is the first stage of the growing process. It starts when they’re weaned from the sow, and runs until they weigh approximately 35-40kg. Our Grower equipment is engineered to provide the optimum environment for growth, while maintaining high welfare standards.
We divide the range into two formats. Grower Units are specifically designed and engineered for Weaned Pigs, and are completely self-contained. Grower Huts are adapted for housing Weaned Pigs, by adding insulation, feed and water systems, and hurdle runs for outside access.
Pigs are at their most vulnerable when first weaned. The highest specification equipment will give them the best possible start, maintaining welfare while improving growth rates.
